This is a gamejam I did with my very good friend Sarah during 1 week. She was responsible for the Story, Creature Design, 3D model and Wallpaper.
I was responsible for the Environment Art, Programming and Music composition.
It was really interesting to make a game in such a short period, we had to cut many ideas we had unfortunately but it was a great experience and I'm pretty proud of it !
Some environment concept I did
To work quickly, I made modular parts of a Trenches. It helped me making a maze really quickly. Then I added some props as decorations to break the repetitions and to lead the player where he needed to go.
Dead soldiers were textured by my girlfriend and modeled by me.
I also borrowed a shader I did in a game I'm creating to simulate the snow which is located only on the z axis of every objects.
I used some tileable or textured with pictures I took or that I found for free on internet and Photoshoped.
I really like to work the old way, by making everything on Photoshop, the tiling, adding dirt and details, it's so much fun !
